Hurricane Disruption

Hurricane Helene made landfall about 90 miles west of us last Thursday. Unfortunately, this was a significant event with major loss of power across much of North Central Florida. The University of Florida closed for two days. Asheville, NC was hit hard, and it will take months for them to recover. A good friend of mine owns The Corner Kitchen in Biltmore Village, and we still have friends in that area from when we lived in Greenville, SC. Because of this disruption, there will not be a post this week, but I look forward to resuming our adventure next week.
